The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) are a network of schools, both primary and secondary, that serve dependents of United States military - and other non-US - personnel outside the United States. The schools themselves are operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).
These school systems, located in Japan and South Korea, depend on SafeMobile's web-based AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) System in conjunction with their basic cellular units.
The Motorola M1000 units fitted with SafeMobile's GPS module via Bluetooth over W-CDMA, provide instant tracking of school vehicles to add safety and security to the students of DoDDS.
